My friend Fred actually has 10 of those new amazing Lego pieces! Well, I have a dinky little 1. You heard me right. A little tiny baby 1. One. So, well... I sort of took his 10 and well now,
Oops! He rang my door bell. I run up and see him. I just have to open it. So I open it and he yells straight up,"Gimme MY legos. You stole 'em, and I KNOW IT." I say,"What! I know nothing of it." He says,"Ha! Trying to fool me? That won't work."(As I wrote this story, I thought of how Peter denied Jesus)
Thankfully, at least in my perspective, he leaves. So here I am. I rush into my room, and wonder,"Come on. How many of these Lego's do I have? I just needa know. I'll tell everyone how many I have."
Now, this is why the math needs to come in. I just eat my lunch thinking about how many legos I had. I put in in numbers.
I have 1. I, well, well, sort of take 10. So... I have the 1 and the 10.How much is that?

Just thinking hmmmmmm... won't work. So I just focus on the 1 and the 0 on top. Oh, I hear the doorbell... AGAIN! So when I focus on the 1 and 0 on top, I know that 0 is nothing. NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. It's nothing. Okay, I've better stop saying nothing. Op, I said it.

You see NOTHING. So we just use the one. Just that. So it's 1. NOPE, you tell me. You forgot the other thing we did. Forgetful me. So I remember that the other part was a 1. So total, I have 11 legos-what's that? It's eleven or, call the stars legos, ***********
That's 11.
I run to the door and I see Fred. I decide I probably shouldn't have stole. I tell him,"Wait a sec."
I go in my room, get the legos and give 'em to him. AND GUESS WHAT I GET! He gives me 20 more!
